AAML Keynote and Testimonial
I recently had the honor of keynoting the annual conference of the American Association of Matrimonial Lawyers. The AAML is the professional association of the legal profession’s best divorce and matrimonial lawyers. These are the folks who represent the super-rich — the top celebrities, sports heroes, actors, and hedge fund managers. For all the stress in their daily practices, they were great, remarkably calm and zen about the nature of their stressful work.
My presentation was fun; I mocked their cliche’d websites and marketing, applauded their best examples, and showed some brilliant examples of divorce marketing from all over the world. The divorce area is full of conflict and drama, which is fodder for really clever marketing and advertising. The 500 top lawyers in attendance had a wonderful sense of humor — even on a Saturday morning after a long four-day conference and a black-tie gala that ran VERY late into the preceding night.
Here’s the gracious testimonial from Kim Willoughby, who helped arrange the conference speakers. THANKS, Kim!
Ross Fishman is a fantastic presenter. In his keynote to our group of 500 attorneys, he was not only extremely knowledgeable, but he had done his research on our organization so that he understood who we were and how to connect with us. He tailored his talk to ideas that resonated with us. Dynamic enough to keep attorneys engaged and interested on a tough Saturday morning, Ross Fishman was a hit!
